Barbra Hepworth (1903-1975)

Who was she to me?

I was at least aware of Barbra Hepworth before the course, and many of her works I can honestly say that I appreciate. I like the organic forms, although the work seems derivative of Henry Moore at times. On further consideration, however, they were contemporaries who know each other. Thus, the derivative feeling is as likely to be a form of entwined inspiration.
